Since 2012 I’ve been gradually eliminating things that I feel have kept me from being healthy.  The first thing to go was tobacco. Committed to the concept, I went cold turkey without support groups, drugs, patches or hypnosis. Simply threw the last pack away and said I wasn’t going to smoke again.

I’ve recently been presented with the recent hypothesis on another potentially addictive substance on which I partake daily.

So we’re all on the same page, I’m a huge coffee drinker. I’m the guy that bought the 50+ cup coffee maker at the office so we wouldn’t have to stop to make coffee all the time.

However my 30+ year history with Tobacco should tell you that I’m not afraid to give up a vice.  Something clicked a few years ago that prompted me to evaluate what I wanted to keep and what I wanted to jettison. Cigarettes went out the side portal and now I’m contemplating whether coffee should go too.
